Woolshed activities may include:

assisting with crutching and shearing such as:

penning and catching sheep

cleaning up duties as directed by the shearer.

Wool handling may include:

assisting with wool handling and classing such as:

sorting crutchings

moving fleece

cleaning up duties as directed by the wool handler or classer.

General work may include:

assisting with general roustabout duties in a woolshed as directed.

Tools and equipment may include:

brooms

knives

sack trucks.

Hazards may include:

dust

noise

air -borne micro-organisms

sharp hand tools and equipment

manual handling

slippery surfaces

obstacles

tripping hazards

presses

overhead gear and other machinery
